I'm back... but more on that later. Friday night (June 27th) I had the extreme pleasure in joining some friends at an event for the launch of the Puma x Atmos Endangered Species collection at Atmos' NYC store (speacial thanks to Satchel of Gravel for the assist). The collection is broken down into two different releases: the Polar Pack (which dropped yesterday) and the Asia Pack (due later this summer). Both packs are inspired by the work of highly-acclaimed National Geographic photographer Mitsuaki Iwago.

I can't say I loved the Polar Pack, but the Asia Pack (seen below) was kind of fly.

You all should know the rest. So, I just read on Movieweb that The Weinstein Co. is bringing our favorite fraggles back to life with a live-action musical version of the HBO children's series.

I am not a big fan of musicals but I will likely be in line for this one. I was Wembley all day son. Stoners, roll one up and get ready for the hi jinx.

Hero Worship

Hey guys,

I know I have been gone for a minute (well, 15,840 or so), but there's been lots going on. The VIPs know what I am talking about. Anywho, I should be back up and running within the week with new posts, pics and the like. In the mean time and in between time, peep the trailer for Season 3 of one of my favorite shows, "Heroes." It doesn't show much but with all the superhero love going around already this spring (Iron Man is making bank... I have to get to the theater to see it), this is making me already excited for the fall. Well, that and football season. And shout out to Ms. Theda for the embed love.

I also want to shout out the team at JHMC. They are real life savers.

And HAPPY BIRFDAY to all the bulls out there (Mr. W, Wiggins, Fees, Maria, Boo, Cousin Pam, Cellie Cel, Brian, Lyndsey and all the others)!

Baltimore Is Birdland

At least that's what the banners outside our hotel said. It makes sense. The city's two pro teams are the Orioles and the Ravens. Word to a retired Steve "Air" McNair. The Bmore Mrs. TMB and I saw this past weekend was less fowl, and all tourist sights, cheerleaders (there was a competition in town) and seafood. And while I did find some sick suede Nike boat shoes in Downtown Locker Room (The Wire cast look-alikes dissuaded me from taking a flick), I didn't see much in the way of Baltimore kick game.

O.G.-Shock

A fan favorite of ‘80s babies and true watch collectors alike, Casio’s G-Shock brand is 25 years strong. In honor of their 25th birthday Casio will be releasing a bunch of collabo watches as well as several limited-edition. The good folks at LRG have already dropped their take on the classic G.

My personal favorite G has to be the limited-edition gray skeleton (seen above). The design and technology is adapted from the original G-Shock which has set standards with its ruggedness and shock resistance, but features a see through light gray band and bezel. A 25th anniversary logo is engraved on the case back marking its uniqueness.

For those of you interested in a little history:

In 1983, a Casio engineer designed a watch that would withstand a fall from atop a three-story building, creating the world’s toughest watch. Using a triple-protection design for the parts, module, and case, the G-Shock offered a radical new type of watch that was virtually shock proof. Its unique look and practicality was immediately recognized, making the G-Shock wildly popular.

The gray skeleton is the second watch being released from the 25th Anniversary G-Shock watch series. The watch is water resistant up to 200M and features a multi-function alarm, EL backlight, 1/100-second stopwatch and a countdown timer.

The limited edition 25th Anniversary G-Shock Skeleton is available nationwide and online for $130.

In addition to the gray skeleton, Casio also introduced the Vivid Colors series (seen below) earlier this year. Available in red, green and white, the Vivid Colors series is available nationwide and online for $120.
